Led by Head Coach Jordan Malone, the squad provides a competitive environment for players who are committed to training, performance and representing Springfield United at FQPL level. The program also creates an important pathway for talented youth and Metro Men players who are looking to challenge themselves and progress into higher-level senior football.
For players seeking a more competitive senior football opportunity, the FQPL 3 Men program provides a clear next step within the Springfield United pathway.

The Metro Men program is a vital part of senior football at Springfield United, offering a pathway for players graduating from youth football, returning to the game after time away, joining a new club, or simply looking to enjoy football with friends.
With teams competing across a range of divisions, the program caters to players of varying abilities and experience levels. Teams are entered into the most suitable competitions based on player numbers, skill level and competition requirements, ensuring an enjoyable and competitive experience for everyone involved.
For some, Metro Men provides the opportunity to continue developing their football within a structured and competitive team environment. For others, it offers the chance to stay active, enjoy the camaraderie of teammates, and remain connected to the game without the greater time commitment often associated with FQPL football.
Players can expect pre-season training to commence in February, with official training dates and schedules to be confirmed by individual coaches during January. Throughout the season, teams will participate in regular training sessions and weekend competition fixtures.
At Springfield United, the focus of the Metro Men program is on fostering a positive football culture built around teamwork, commitment, respect and community. Players have the opportunity to proudly represent one of Queensland's fastest-growing football clubs while enjoying football in a supportive and inclusive environment.
The Metro Men program also forms an important part of Springfield United's senior football pathway, sitting alongside our FQPL Men, Under 23s and Masters programs. Together, these pathways provide players with opportunities to continue playing at a level that suits their ambitions, ability and lifestyle, while encouraging lifelong participation in football.
