Welcome to Springfield United Football Club

Who Are We?

Springfield United Football Club (SUFC) is a proud, community-driven football club founded in 2008 by Ryan Ginard. What began with a single men’s team has grown into one of the largest grassroots clubs in Queensland. As of 2026, SUFC supports over 1,500 players across more than 100 teams, offering opportunities for all ages and abilities.

From our Little Springers program (ages 3–5) through to our MiniRoos, Academy, divisional and senior FQPL squads, and into our Masters competitions including Over 35s, Over 45s and Women’s Legends, the club provides a complete football pathway for players at every stage.

Based at Springfield Central Sports Complex, known within the club as The Summit, SUFC operates across multiple fields to deliver training and matchday experiences for our growing football community. Since establishing our home here, the club has continued to expand both on and off the pitch.

Our mission is to grow the game in Greater Springfield by providing accessible, inclusive, and high-quality football programs. We are committed to creating a positive environment that brings people together from across Springfield, Springfield Lakes, Spring Mountain, Brookwater and Augustine Heights.

More than just a football club, SUFC is built on community. We focus on developing players, supporting coaches, and creating lifelong connections through the game.

We welcome all players, families, volunteers and supporters to be part of Springfield United.
