Springfield United’s FQPL 3 Women program is the club’s highest-level female football team and a key part of our growing female pathway.
After continuing to build strongly in recent seasons, our FQPL Women enter 2026 with a clear focus: to compete, develop and push towards promotion from FQPL 3 into FQPL 2. The squad is led by Head Coach Chris Withers, who returns for the 2026 season following a successful 2025 campaign and has assembled a balanced group of experienced senior players and emerging talent from within Springfield United’s female pathway.
As our peak female team, the FQPL 3 Women program provides an important opportunity for ambitious players to challenge themselves in a competitive senior environment while also giving younger Springfield United players a clear pathway to aspire to.
Springfield United has continued to invest in female football, from MiniRoos and junior girls teams through to youth, academy and senior women’s football.
The FQPL 3 Women’s team sits at the top of this pathway and plays an important role in connecting our junior and youth female players with senior football opportunities. The program gives players the chance to continue their development at Springfield, progress into senior competition and represent the club at a higher level.
With Springfield United also securing FQ Academy U17 Girls for 2026, the pathway into senior women’s football is continuing to grow, giving talented young players more opportunity to develop within the club.
The 2026 FQPL 3 Women’s squad brings together a mix of senior experience, returning players and emerging youth.
This balance gives the group a strong foundation, with experienced players helping set standards while younger players continue to develop in a competitive environment. Springfield United has also welcomed players back into the squad for 2026, including Charli Phillips, highlighting the positive direction and culture being built around the program.
The group is motivated, competitive and focused on continuing the progress made in recent seasons.
