Welcome to Springfield United Football Club

Who are we

Springfield United Football Club (SUFC) is a community-based sporting organisation, set up in 2008 by Ryan Ginard with a single men’s team.

Since then, SUFC has continued to grow. In 2023, the club has over 1,200 players across 95+ teams ranging from Little Springers (3-5 year olds) through to over 45s and Women's Legends.

From the 2020 season, the club moved to a new home at the Springfield Central Sports Complex, where we use Field 1 and 2.

SUFC’s Mission Statement is to ensure the continued promotion of football in Greater Springfield, principally through the provision of sporting and social activities for people of all ages and abilities. SUFC proudly supports the communities of Springfield, Springfield Lakes, Spring Mountain, Brookwater and Augustine Heights.

As one of the fastest growing Football clubs in Ipswich, and surrounding areas such as Logan and the Greater Brisbane region, Springfield United would like to extend our warmest welcome to new and returning players for season 2023!
